It is one of the singularities and identity seal of this contest. A new work is commissioned every year from different composers, with the peculiarity that the lyrics must be in Valencian language, with which it is intended to significantly enrich the baggage of choral pieces written in Valencian and give them an important projection outside the Valencian Community. . It also serves as an interpretive reference of all choirs when it comes to evaluating by the jury. In this way, there are already an appreciable number of works composed by various contemporary composers, who have contributed to enriching the choral repertoire in Valencian.
