He is a Senior Guitar Professor at the “Oscar Esplá” Conservatory of Alicante and has been awarded the Extraordinary Prize in this specialty..
Study composition with Javier Darias and Amando Blanquer, attending various improvement courses taught by personalities of the stature of Luis de Pablo, Ramon Barce, Thomas Marco, Alfredo Aracil, José Luis Turina, Cristóbal Halfter and Tristán Murail.
Expand studies in choral conducting with teachers Samuel Rubio, Erwin List y Helmut Lips.
He has a Diploma in Business Sciences from the University of Alicante and a Master's degree in Musical Aesthetics and Creativity from the University of Valencia..
Since the year 1982 the technical director of the "Fira de Tots Sants de Cocentaina Choir Competition", through which the best choral formations in the Spanish State have passed.
He has directed the “Cor de Cambra Discantus” since its creation in the year 1991, entity with which it has achieved several awards in various national and international competitions, among which it is worth highlighting the absolute First Prize in the “XLII International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest” of Torrevieja of the year 1996, edition in which he was also awarded the “José Hódar” Award for best direction.
With the Cor de Cambra Discantus has recorded 2 recording works: “Typical Christmas topics” and “Eclectic ... s ́times of Discantus”.
He has directed the “Ateneo Musical Contestà Society”, with which he achieved honorable mention in the International Band Contest “Ciudad de Valencia 1997”.
He was the winner of the first prize of the "I Choir Composition Competition of the Federation of Choirs of the Valencian Community 1999", as well as finalist of the "II Matilde Salvador Choral Composition Award".
It has a wide catalog of choral and instrumental works, among which his “Missa Mare de Déu” for soloists stands out, choir and orchestra.
He has been part of the jury in various choral competitions and composition competitions., in addition to having been a teacher in the choral conducting courses of the FE.CO.CO.VA.( Federation of Choirs of the Valencian Community).
He has directed several symphonic-choral works, among which it is worth highlighting: "Magnifies" of A. Vivaldi, “Glory” of A. Vivaldi, “Magnificat” by G.B.. Pergolesi, "Magnificat" of J. Rutter, “Gloria” by J. Rutter, “Requiem” de W.A. Mozart, “Mass to Buenos Aires” by M. Palmeri, or his own “Missa Mare de Déu”.
He has served as a cultural programmer for Caja Mediterráneo and as director of the Center d'Art d'Alcoi. (EACH) between the years 2006 a 2011.
He currently directs the “Eduardo Torres de Albaida Vocal Group” and the “Cor de Cambra Discantus de Cocentaina”.
