Josep Robert Sellés i Camps, AUTHOR OF THE OBLIGATED WORK OF THE 39 EDITION OF THE ALL SANTS FAIR CHORAL COMPETITION 2019 OF COCENTAIN.
The obligatory work is titled “MARTH, MARTHA" and is written by the composer and director JOSEP ROBERT SELLÉS and CAMPS from the Valencian popular song of the same name.
With this work the organization and the composer pay tribute to the celebration of the "V CENTENARY OF THE MIRACLE OF THE MOTHER OF GOD 1520-2020" that Cocentaina will celebrate in honor of its Patroness the “MARE DE DÉU DEL MIRACLE”.
This new commission of the obligatory work is added to the list of choral works written in Valencian that the organization of the contest has been carrying out and that disseminates choral music written in this language.
“Martha, Martha” will serve as an interpretive reference for all the choirs that will compete next 9 November in the 39 Edition of the Certamen Coral Fira de Tots Sants.
