Welcome to the Fira de Tots Sants Choral Contest. We have been celebrating more than 40 editions, and which endorse the commitment of this Association to the dissemination and promotion of choral music without geographical limits,, with national and international participants..

With enthusiasm and effort, the organisers of this Contest set ourselves the goal of achieving a high artistic level every year and an organisation focused on the well-being of the participating choirs.

Benvinguts al Certamen Coral Fira de Tots Sants. Són més de 40 edicions ja les que portem celebrant, i que avalen el compromís d’aquesta Associació amb la difusió i promoció de la música coral sense límits geogràfics, amb participants d’àmbit nacional i internacional.

Amb il·lusió i esforç, els organitzadors d’aquest Certamen ens posem com a meta aconseguir cada any un alt nivell artístic i una organització bolcada en el benestar dels cors participants.

Si formes part d’un cor, no dubteu a vindre i participar. A més de compartir l’experiència d’un Certamen Coral, també podreu gaudir de la gran hospitalitat que ofereix la gent de Cocentaina a qualsevol visitant. El Certamen Coral Fira de Tots Sants és una celebració on cada any estrenyem nous llaços d’amistat i on podem compartir i gaudir tots del que ens uneix, que és la passió per la música coral.

The Fira de Tots Sants Choral Contest in Cocentaina, was born with the aim of being an annual reference event in the Valencian choral world.. The continuous work and dedication of the group that makes up the Fira de Tots Sants Choral Contest Association has made it go beyond the mere regional borders and place the contest among the most valued in Spain, both for the prestige of the participants and for organizational excellence.

Promoting choral music written in Valencian language has been one of the unwavering objectives that we have set ourselves. . In this way, commissions written by contemporary authors have been born that have contributed to enriching the repertoire and whose dissemination has been helped by the participating choirs..

he stylistic requirements of the competition are intended not to be limiting and that the choirs can show the best of their usual repertoire. . For this reason it is very important to pay attention to the preparation of the chosen program, thinking that difficulty, variety and communication skills with the public and jury must be combined. . The program must work and it must capture the attention of the audience at all times.. In this way we will be able to promote the taste for listening to choral music and banish excessively homogeneous repertoires in this type of manifestations.. This aspect is so important for the organization that a 20 % of the overall score assigned by the jury..

A contest is always a good reason to work more actively on a choir. An appointment of these characteristics leads to more detailed attention to aspects of the works that would go unnoticed in a regular concert. Regardless of the final list of winners, Participants always win, since the level of the group is undoubtedly higher after addressing a contest than before. In addition, the pride of belonging, the taste for a job well done, the interest in learning and improving, people meet, live with their usual colleagues in a different way and, as if that were not enough, new cities are known.

The great choral fact brings together people of diverse formation and social status. We all work together and strive for a common goal: to perform choral music in a dignified way. Maybe there are many colleagues that we would never have known or shared experiences if it were not for their membership in the choir. We are voice ambassadors, an example of coexistence and a channel of popular culture.

The Fira de Tots Sants Choral Contest in Cocentaina, va nàixer amb l’objectiu de ser una cita anual de referència del món coral valencià. El continuat treball i dedicació del col·lectiu que forma l’Associació Certamen Coral Fira de Tots Sants ha fet depassar les meres fronteres autonòmiques i situar el concurs entre un dels més valorats de l’Estat Espanyol, tant pel prestigi dels participants com per l’excel·lència organitzativa.

Potenciar la literatura coral escrita en valencià ha sigut un dels objectius irrenunciables que ens hem marcat. D’aquesta manera, han nascut encàrrecs escrits per autors contemporanis que han contribuït a enriquir el repertori i a la divulgació del qual han ajudat els cors participants.

Les exigències estilístiques del concurs pretenen no ser limitatives i que els cors puguen mostrar el millor del seu repertori habitual. Per tal motiu és molt important parar atenció a l’elaboració del programa triat, pensant que s’ha de compaginar dificultat, varietat i capacitat de comunicació amb el públic i jurat. El programa ha de funcionar i s’ha d’aconseguir captar l’atenció de l’auditori en tot moment. D’aquesta manera podrem fomentar el gust per escoltar música coral i bandejar els repertoris excessivament homogenis en aquesta mena de manifestacions. Aquest aspecte té tanta importància per a l’organització que se li atorga un 20% de la puntuació global que assigna el jurat.

Un concurs sempre és un bon motiu per a treballar més activament un cor. Una cita d’aquestes característiques porta al fet que es cuiden amb més detalle aspectes de les obres que passarien més desapercebuts en un concert habitual. Independentment del palmarés final, els participants sempre guanyen, ja que el nivell de l’agrupació és indubtablement més alt després d’abordar un certamen que abans. A més creix l’orgull de pertinença, el gust pel treball ben fet, l’interés per aprendre i millorar, es coneix gent, es conviu amb els companys habituals d’una manera diferent i, per si no fos prou, es coneixen noves ciutats.

El grandiós fet coral aglutina gent de diversa formació i condició social. Tots junts treballem i ens esforcem per un objectiu comú: interpretar música coral d’una manera digna. Tal vegada hi ha molts companys que mai hauríem conegut ni compartit vivències de no ser per la seua pertinença al cor. Som ambaixadors de la veu, exemple de convivència i canal de cultura popular.
