JOSÉ VICENTE ASENSI SEVA

Born in Sella, province of Alicante.
Study at the Conservatories of Alicante and Valencia.
He has the qualifications of:

– Senior Professor of Harmony, Counterpoint, Leak, Composition and Instrumentation.
He has completed the Master of Aesthetics and Musical Creativity organized by the Institut De Creativitat I Innovacions Educatives of the University of Valencia.
Carry out doctoral studies focused on “Relationship between subjective assessments of hearing quality and physical parameters in concert halls”, at the Department of Applied Physics of the Polytechnic University of Valencia where he obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies with work: “Proposal of musical fragments for the evaluation of the acoustic quality of rooms”.
In his catalog of compositions there appear, choral music, chamber music, music for the Moors and Christians festival and symphonic music for band. It is worth mentioning the obtaining of the First prize for Composition and second prize, with the Christian march “Az-Bo” in the XI National Festive Music Competition, Christian March modality organized by the City Council and the Society of Festeros of Ontinyent held on 27 of February 1994. In the year 2006 receives the special mention of the competition of the Choral Federation of Catalonia for his work "Vella Sepharad".
Founder and Director of the “José Seguí” Music School of Callosa d’en Sarriá until the course 2002/2003 and from the magazine “Lines and Spain” of the A.A.M. from Callosa d’en Sarrià to 1999.
He has served as director professor in the following groups:

– During the course 94 / 95 directs the Music Band of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia

He currently conducts the Polyphonic Choir "Juan y Ginés Pérez" and the Chamber Orchestra of the Association of Friends of the Music of Callosa d'En Sarrià. He is a Professor of Composition at the “Oscar Esplá” Higher Conservatory of Music in Alicante where he works, since july 2012, the position of Director.
