He has a higher degree in Composition, Direction of Choirs and Orchestra at the Superior Conservatory of San Sebastián. Obtains the “Certificate of Advanced Studies” in Orchestral Conducting from the Royal Academy of Music in London, scholarship from the Bank of Spain and the RAM itself. Graduated as a “Special Student” in Orchestral Conducting at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
As a composer he has received, inter alia, various charges for: Government of Navarra: Cocerto Grosso, 4 Dream Interpretations; M.I. It has been broadcast on TVE, different regional television stations and on various national and international radio stations. His music has been performed by various orchestras such as the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, of the Basque Country, from Bilbao, from Murcia, RTVE, Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, KBS Symphony Orchestra of Korea, Lira Numantina Orchestra, Orchestra of the Superior Conservatory of Navarra, Young Orchestra of the Galician Symphony, St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, among others and in different Music Festivals on all continents.
He conducted the Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra of L´Aquila, “Symphony Orchestra” and “Sinfonia” from the Royal Academy of London, Navarra Symphony Orchestra, Basque Symphony Orchestra, Madrid Community Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, Soloists of the Royal Theater Orchestra (Madrid Symphony Orchestra), etc.
Since 1986 He is director of the Pyrenees Instrumental Group. During 1991-92 He was principal guest conductor of the Manhattan Contemporary Ensemble. during the season 1992-93 He was Assistant Director of the National Orchestra of Spain. He has been Head of Studies at the “Reina Sofía” Higher School of Music. In 1.993 burn a CD with the LIM group. Since 1993 creates the FINALE Instrumental Group, making several premieres and recordings, among them the premieres of the XII and XIV edition of the S.G.A.E Composition Awards. for the Author Foundation and the C.D.M.C.
Currently he combines the activity of professor and director of the Band and Symphony Orchestra of the Superior Conservatory of Navarra, principal conductor of the Pamplona Municipal Band, composer and guest conductor of different groups and orchestras.
